1.  The center clips need to be removed. If you just wiggle them back and forth they come out easily. No need to save the pieces you remove.

2. Installing the clips on the backside of the heritage grille. Center the bowtie in the grille and push the metal clips onto the plastic clips on the bowtie

Clip installed. The slight bowing of the grille bars does not show from the front when installed.
