Begin by removing your existing factory bumper or aftermarket rollpan & Remove the tailgate. | |||||||||||||

Examine your new parts for damage. Sir Michaels products are of incredible quality and very little prep is needed to get this part ready for paint. Prior to painting, you may choose to smooth the recessed license plate pocket area by welding the seam solid and finishing the bodywork. Prime as necessary and prep for paint. | |||||||||||||
 Always test fit prior to painting. Remember, Sir Micheals does not accept parts returns that have been modified or painted. | |||||||||||||

Prep the panel per the paint manufacturers instructions and apply color and clear coat as needed. | |||||||||||||
 Install plastic license plate screw mounts |  Drill a hole for the new light wires to pass through the rear of the bed floor. |  Clip old wiring for license plate light | |||||||||||
 add the supplied new light wires. |  Fit the newly painted roll pan to the truck |  Align using the slotted holes to install tech screws | |||||||||||
 Reinstall tailgate |  Check your new roll pan for fit |  Install the supplied lower brackets to the frame ends and the roll pan and tighten completely when the rollpan is aligned | |||||||||||
